How to win every time

Most people say fear of rejection is the biggest reason they hesitate to share the truth of Jesus Christ with others. What does God say about that?

“If you are reproached (or insulted) for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.” (I Peter 4:14)

“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.” (Luke 6:22-23)

Three things can happen when you share Christ with unbelievers:

1. They repent and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Blessed victory! Leap for joy!

2. They listen and receive the Word – a seed has been planted. Blessed victory! Leap for joy!

3. They reject you, insult you and revile you. According to the passages we read above: Blessed victory! Leap for joy!

“Every time we share our faith, it is a winning situation,” writes Mark Cahill in his excellent and easy-to-read book One Thing You Can’t Do in Heaven. “I don’t ever have to worry again about Satan trying to talk me out of witnessing, because the Word of God says that I can’t lose doing it. It is a winning situation every single time!”
