Orange Villa Bible Church (OVBC) has been blessed for close to sixty years through the leadership of Godly men and women that have been called to serve Christ’s body manifested in the local church.

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,”

Rob Curington

Pastor/Elder

Rob was born and raised in Illinois, where he married his wife Dawn in 1987. He began full time ministry as Pastor of Youth and Music at Freeport Baptist Church and Dean of Students at Freeport Christian Academy in Illinois. Rob and his family, including his three children Brandon, Jacob, and Emily, moved to California in 2002 when he accepted the position of Family Life Pastor at Brea Baptist Church in Brea, California. In December 2005, he answered the call to Pastor Orange Villa Bible Church.

Randy Franz

Randy Franz has been attending Orange Villa Bible Church for over 20 years. He met his wife, Janis, while they were both working as sports writers. Today, Randy works as a Team Coach for “Coach’s Oats.” He and Janis have two children, Isabella and Dan.

Landon Johnson

Landon and his wife Nicole have been a part of the OVBC family since 2013. Landon brings strong leadership and an extensive background in project management that continues to help build OVBC’s missions and discipleship goals. He currently works as a Technical Director for Walt Disney Imagineering’s Creative Entertainment Division at the Disneyland park as he pursues his carreer as a writer, producer and director of Christian value based films.

Nicole Johnson

Director of Children’s Ministries

Nicole grew up in Southern California and has always known she wanted to work with kids. Nicole met her husband Landon while working on the set of an independent film, and they were married in 2012. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University and taught in Orange County public schools before joining the team at Orange Villa in 2013.
