In 2 Corinthians Chapter 3 we find the he glorious ministry of the Spirit is Paul’s confidence and reason for his boldness. Paul’s legitimacy is based on his being a minister of the New Covenant.
The Corinthians are Paul’s proof of God’s hand on his ministry. They are impressed on Paul’s heart and mind. They cannot question his legitimacy without bringing into question their own.
